A practical book to practice and apply UX right away.
This book really is what it says: “A Quick Reference Guide to User Experience Design” for anyone that want a more practical book to practice and apply UX right away. Without all the academic fluff that makes UX seem so difficult to apply and complicated to learn.
This book is great!

The best book for UX designers.
In terms of content, is probably the best book for ux designers (especially if you’re new to the field). Very clear, direct, great examples and humour.
No frills, just facts.
I just read the UX Design Field Book on a flight. As someone that wandered backwards into a UX career, I have some sizable knowledge gaps. This gave me some great info and ideas on where to focus as I continue to learn.
I loved that this book got to the point. No frills, just facts. I also love that I know I can go back to a section for reference if I need to without fumbling through the whole book again. Truly a UX field guide!
A must have for any UX professional.
Doug has done an incredible job with breaking down UX concepts so we can continue to refresh them at a moments notice. A must have for any UX professional.
